Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage Microsoft Azure Cloud infra for Straumann Digital platform.
• Need to work in Microsoft Azure Cloud components ,tools ,platform and architecture.
• Administrate and Monitor the Azure Cloud environment.
• Good knowledge of ARM templates.
• Strong on-hands on IAM, Azure AD directory, Azure Kubernetes cluster, Azure Networking and Azure Storage.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources, including VMs, virtual networks, and storage accounts.
• Monitor system performance and respond to alerts and incidents, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain security best practices, including access controls and data encryption.
• Perform backup and disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and outages.
• Review and own document infrastructure configurations and operational procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with Azure services and features to suggest optimizations and cost-saving strategies.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Resource Manager, Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, and Azure Networking.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using tools like PowerShell or Azure CLI.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Azure Resource Manager Templates or Terraform.
• Knowledge of Azure security best practices and identity management.
• Monitoring and logging tools expertise, such as Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Log Analytics.
• Networking fundamentals and experience with Azure networking services.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes (optional).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (optional).
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) (optional).

Optional Skills:

• Familiarity with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud configurations.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Database administration skills, especially with Azure SQL Database or Cosmos DB.
• Knowledge of Azure FHIR.
• Familiarity with Azure Functions for serverless computing.
• Basic understanding of Azure Data factory.
• Involve in design and Automate processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to automate deployment and provisioning processes.
• Technical understanding of commerce platform b2b concepts and procedures including online services, Order to Cash operations and general billing and commerce systems process
