Site Reliability Engineer

What you bring:

• Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will focus on Scalability, High Availability, Performance, Stability and Reliability of Software Applications.

• SRE will build automations to simplify operations and processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams to create proactive engineering mechanisms and ensure positive end user experiences.

• SRE with a good understanding of Products & interdependencies, with blend of pragmatic, operational and software development skills, will apply sound engineering principles, operational discipline, and mature automation to our operating environments and the codebase

What you will be doing:

• Minimum 5 to10 yrs of exp in Linux and Linux system performance, alongside knowhow of the native Linux tools that is used for extracting metrics related to performance.

• Experience in scripting technologies – Shell Scripting (mandatory), PowerShell Scripting and Python. More the exposure better it is.

• Candidate is expected to develop automation solutions and tools for two major objectives:  Data collection, data filtering and data analysis of logs and metrics collected from the system performance analysis. Automation of toil (or repeated manual tasks) to enhance efficiency.
