Software Senior Engineer-DevOps, Python

You will:

• Manage all activities necessary to take a product from concept to production including analysing the requirements, system architecture, Proof of Concept, Contribution to behavioral specification, defining engineering functional plan, design, coding, engineering interlocks with stakeholders that include Product Management, Core team, cross functional engineering teams, Architecture Review Board, factory and customer support.
• Develop technical specifications, defining Proof of Concepts, evaluating prototypes and making recommendations, defining program scope, driving design / engineering reviews are part of the job responsibility.
• Experience in dealing with Data Center or Cloud Infra management software, fault tolerant systems and high availability is a plus.
• Person should have strong leadership skills with focus on drive for results. It is an IC role with more focus on technical content.

Essential Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in software development, DevOps practices and solutions. 
• Programming and scripting skills in multiple languages – including Python, Java, Bash, Go, Perl, Ruby, etc.  
• Experience in build automation and release engineering, continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) and artifact management tools – Github, Jenkins pipeline, Jfrog Artifactory, Kubernetes, Docker, Maven, Gradle, Make. 
• Expertise with Source Code Management tools – specifically GIT, Perforce. 
• Problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to adapt to technologies and processes quickly. 

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in programming languages Golang, and Python3 is added advantage
• Educational Qualification (BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MS/MCA)
