Job Summary

Strategy
•    Demonstrate strong awareness and understanding of the Group and Business Unit strategy and how technology and delivery execution supports strategic outcomes.
•    Contribute to the development and execution of functional and platform strategies by translating business priorities into scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions.
•    Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and platforms to support long‑term business growth, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
•    Proactively assess industry, technology, and regulatory trends and provide input on their potential impact to the business and operating model.

Business
•    Support delivery of business objectives through high quality solution design, development, and implementation aligned to agreed requirements, timelines, and budgets. 
•    Partner closely with Business, Product, Operations, and Technology stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and client expectations. 
•    Perform detailed analysis of business requirements and translate them into effective technical designs and delivery outcomes. 
•    Contribute to initiatives that drive cost efficiency, service quality, system stability, and time to market improvement.

Processes
•    Execute assigned responsibilities in accordance with the Group’s Operational Risk Framework, Technology Standards, and SDLC / Agile delivery processes. 
•    Ensure all solutions are appropriately designed, documented, tested, approved, and implemented in line with change management and release governance requirements. 
•    Participate in UAT, release planning, implementation, and post implementation reviews to ensure readiness and stability. 
•    Support continuous improvement of delivery, development, and operational processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending enhancements.

•    Identify, assess, and manage technology, operational, and delivery risks within the scope of the role, escalating issues in a timely and transparent manner. 
•    Ensure compliance with the Group Risk Management Framework, including adherence to security, resilience, data protection, and control standards. 
•    Support risk assessments, control testing, and remediation activities relevant to systems and processes under responsibility. 
•    Maintain strong risk awareness and proactively contribute to risk mitigation initiatives across projects and platforms. 

Governance
•    Operate in compliance with all applicable Group policies, standards, and governance frameworks, including Technology, Data, and Information Security policies. 
•    Ensure all activities, deliverables, and decisions are appropriately documented and auditable. 
•    Support governance forums, reviews, and approvals as required, providing accurate and timely information. 
•    Maintain awareness of the regulatory environment relevant to the role and ensure delivery outcomes align with governance and regulatory expectations.

•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
