Job Description
What you will be doing
- Standardized Splunk agent deployment, configuration and maintenance across a variety of UNIX and Windows platforms.
- Experience with Splunk Searching and Reporting, Knowledge Objects administration, Clustering and Forwarder Management.
- Support Splunk on Unix, Linux and Windows-based platforms
What you bring:
- 5+ years of working experience with Splunk Enterprise.
- Should be Splunk Certified Admin
- Working experience with small/medium Splunk deployments. The small scale is
- Ability to develop use cases in the said deployments for search and ingest operations.
- Ability to understand customers' requirements.
- Ability to strike a rapport with the customer and win their trust on Technical merit.
- Basic understanding of networks, and OS.
- Ability to quickly explore, examine and understand problems and how it relates to the customer’s business.
- Experience with both the Unix and Windows operating systems; comfortable with the command-line interface.
- Ability to stop, collaborate and listen to technical and non-technical consumers from application developers to executive-level partners.
- Self-motivated and self-educating, always interested in keeping up with technology and improving oneself.
