Sr. Backend Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing:
●Design and develop scalable backend systems and microservices
●Build and maintain robust, high-performance APIs
●Drive system design and architecture decisions
●Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features
●Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability in production systems
Qualifications:
●7+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer
●Strong experience preferably in Java and Spring Boot (microservices architecture)
●Proven experience with REST APIs and distributed systems
●Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
●Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch
●Strong problem-solving skills and experience working on production-scale systems
●Background in SaaS, SalesTech, or data-heavy platforms
●Experience with event-driven systems (SQS , Kinesis , Kafka, etc.)
●Exposure to the cloud (AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
●Strong ownership and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
●Comfortable leveraging AI tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, etc.) to enhance development
efficiency and code quality
REPORTING: This position will report to the Engineering Manager or as assigned by
Management.
