Sr Cloud Deployment Specialist

What you'll get to do

• Design, implement, automate, scale and secure cloud platforms using infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Develop and enhance repeatable processes via scripts (e.g. via Terraform, Bash, Powershell, Python, etc.
• Create and maintain documentation of technical procedures, configurations, and the architecture of deployed solutions.
• Troubleshoot or assist with troubleshooting incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
• Provide mentorship to your team members and other teams for technical guidance and cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training when necessary.
• Collaborate with other Engineers to ensure standards and best practice are maintained.

Skills and experience we value

• 5+ years’ experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on Azure
• 5+ years’ experience delivering solutions via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and other related IaC tools.
• Strong experience with tools and scripting languages such as Git, ArgoCD, Python, Powershell, and Bash.
• Excellent understanding of core Azure components such as Compute, Networking, Storage, Database, and Security
• Experience with DevOps and containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub and Terraform
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
