Sr. DevOps Engineer

THE SKILL SET

• 5 to 7yrs years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience working with Terraform, Helm, and Container Registry for 4+ years.
• Experience operating and maintaining Kubernetes environments for 3+ years.
• Linux system administration skills, 3-5 years operations experience
• Extensive experience in architecting, implementing, and supporting solutions on cloudproviders.
• Nice to have: Strong coding skills in in at least one of the following - Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Java
• Experience with cloud computing toolsets like - Terraform, Packer, etc.
• Experience with configuration management tools - Chef, Puppet, etc.
• Experience and knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, cloud computing
• Is detail oriented, can build reliable and scalable solutions.
• Can debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
• You’re self-driven, motivated, with a strong work ethic and passion for problem solving and are comfortable with context switching.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL

• Get your bearings and begin to build a strong foundation, upon which to grow.
• Build relationships with development teams and understand their processes.
• Gain a strong understanding of Sales Performance Management space and the business challenges Xactly solves.

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL

• Have a strong understanding of the business and begin teaching us a thing or two we don’t know.
• Have a thorough understanding of the technologies used by the teams you interact with and be able to suggest improvements and modifications.

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL

• Be able to work independently and help increase the velocity of development teams.

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL

• Be seen as a well-versed, trusted business-advisor and expert, making a significant positive impact company-wide.
