Sr Engineer Consultant-DevOps

What you’ll be doing...

We are looking for a Senior Engineer Consultant - DevOps who will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and driving new opportunities through an expert-level comprehension of software design, APIs, and web technologies. You will collaborate with network engineers to build DevOps automation solutions to solve problems and enhance network management.

• Developing automation tools for Network Support and Operations.

• Ensuring the maintainability of all developed solutions and enforcing best practices related to code versioning, testing, and project methodologies.

• Utilizing expert-level knowledge of front-end and server-side application design to ensure tools are highly available, geographically redundant, reliable, and scalable to meet network growth requirements.

• Designing comprehensive testing strategies for all new and existing components to ensure functionality and reliability.

• Fostering a culture of inclusion and teamwork by leading by example and considering the broader team’s impact in all actions.

• Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

• Utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automated provisioning and configuration management.

• Deploying and managing observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog) to enhance monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.

• Ensuring security best practices in DevOps workflows, including container security, secrets management, and compliance automation.

• Developing and managing Jenkins shared libraries to standardize and optimize CI/CD workflows across projects.

• Managing build and release processes, ensuring efficient software delivery pipelines.

• Collaborating with development teams to integrate App DevOps best practices and improve software lifecycle automation.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Four or more years of relevant work experience.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, and observability platforms.

• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and microservices architecture.

• Proficiency in Jenkins shared libraries, build and release automation, and App DevOps strategies.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Prior experience in development using Python and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of software architecture, programming languages, virtualization, and networking layers.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple work assignments simultaneously.

  • Ability to lead technical discussions with diverse industry professionals holding varying technical positions.
