Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

Deep knowledge of Linux systems including troubleshooting and monitoring.
5+ Years’ experience with DevOps automation, CI/CD pipeline and agile methodologies.
Coding in various languages, we normally prefer JavaScript, Python, Go, Java and Bash.
Networking services and protocols. DNS, SNMP, HTTPS, TCP/IP and BGP.
Database administration. Postgres (preferred), MySQL, Maria DB, Oracle DB.
Web application development and operations experience. Preferably Java EE or Python stack. Have good knowledge of Apache Tomcat, Kafka, Django, RMQ, ELK, Nginx, F5, Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus.
Experience in events management tools/platforms. E.g. Netcool/OMNIbus, IBM/Tivoli, HP OVO, BMC BEM/TruSight, Moogsoft, Instana, ServiceNow ITOM.
Experience developing enterprise-scale automation solutions.
Experience working with Container and Container Orchestration Platforms (Docker Swarm, Apache Mesos, Kubernetes).
Have knowledge of ServiceNow Workflow, HP OO, Rundeck, Apache Airflow, Tidal.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
A self-motivated team player.
Availability for weekend shifts: Must be able to work one weekend day, with a corresponding day off during the week.
Shift flexibility: Ability to work in rotating shifts as required by the operational schedule.
Experience developing on the ServiceNow Platform is a bonus.
Good to have any industry certification, such as
ITIL, CCSP, COBIT, AWS/Azure/GCP certification, ServiceNow certification.
