Manager – Business Architecture
zigya
Job Description
As WrkTalk scales its enterprise deployments, we are building a Business Architecture function that sits at the intersection of technology and client delivery. This role owns the end-to-end deployment of WrkTalk instances for enterprise clients — from internal coordination through go-live — freeing the sales team to focus on client relationships and revenue.
What You'll Own
- Take complete ownership of every client deployment from sales handover to go-live
- Liaise internally across Backend, Frontend, DevOps, Testing teams to deliver each instance on time and correctly
- Manage all pre-deployment client queries on infrastructure requirements, coordinating with DevOps and Backend to resolve them
- Drive installation calls — including screen shares, environment access sessions, IP whitelisting, SMTP configuration, and networking handshakes
- Troubleshoot post-deployment issues (traffic routing, call connectivity, infosec clearances) by pulling in the right internal resources
- Maintain rigorous deployment checklists and sign off on every instance before client handover
- Coordinate internal attendance for client-facing calls — identifying who needs to be on a call and securing their availability
- Act as the first line of defence for product integrity — when sales brings client customisation requests, you evaluate them against product architecture and articulate clearly and logically why WrkTalk is a single-product platform, not a bespoke solution, ensuring client expectations are set correctly from day one
- Serve as the single point of internal coordination so the sales team's only touchpoint is you
Who You Are
- B.Tech / B.E. from a reputed institution (IIT preferred) with 2–3 years of experience in a technology-intensive environment
- Not necessarily a programmer, but deeply fluent in how technology systems work — infra, networking, application layers
- Strong product mindset — you instinctively think in terms of scalable, standardised solutions and are comfortable holding the line on product boundaries without being dismissive of client needs
- Organised to a fault — you work from checklists, track every open item, and nothing falls through the cracks
- A natural coordinator who can hold multiple concurrent deployments without losing thread
- Comfortable on client calls — confident, articulate, and able to translate technical complexity into plain language
- Ambitious: this role is deliberately designed as a techno-commercial springboard for someone eyeing a top MBA programme
Why This Role
This is not a support function. You will have direct client exposure, own high-stakes deployments for marquee enterprises, and develop a rare combination of technical depth and business acumen. For an engineer looking to build a compelling MBA application — or simply to grow fast in a scaling B2B product company — this is an unusually rich two-year stint.
