Staff Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and implement scalable and resilient systems for Hyperface's credit card platform.
• Drive best practices in coding, architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor and guide engineers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges related to scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies that align with business goals.
• Contribute to the long-term technical strategy and roadmap for Hyperface's products.

Requirements:

• 7-12 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proficiency in modern backend technologies (Java, Go, or Node.js ) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong expertise in system design, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and caching solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong product and customer focus.
  • Proven track record of mentoring and technical leadership within engineering teams.
