Job Description
What will you do?
- This role will be handling 70% of end-user support on a daily basis and doing 30% of projects as needed by the business units (involvement in NG project)
- Readily available to perform tasks and/or handle urgent issues during off hours when needed
- Develop and support software configuration management (SCM) for R&D software engineering releases
- Support automation of data reporting (Power BI knowledge an asset)
- Perform System Maintenance (VMs, MS updates, etc)
- Design, implement and Maintain build automation systems and related process automation
- Design, implement build automation pipelines with tools such as Github actions, goCD, and Python scripting for streamlined deployments & systems updates
- Develop and maintain CI/CD process
- Experience with Windows (preferred) and Unix/Linux operating systems as a system administrator or developer
- Working knowledge of web-based application architectures and programming in Azure
- Investigate third party software
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and standards

Education/Experience
- BS Computer Science or technical equivalent
- At least 5 years of work experience
- Ability to work in Azure cloud services
Required skills
- Must be a resident in Pune, India area
- End-user support experience in resolving reported issues
- Experienced in Azure cloud services
- Experienced in Windows and Linux environment administration and maintenance (backups, ms updates, hardware/software maintenance, etc)
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) experience (ex: GoCD, Github actions, Yocto, etc)
- Familiarity with basic infrastructure components (ex: database, network, system monitoring)
- Exposure to IT Service Management Tools (JIRA, Service NOW or equivalent)
- Database management MSSQL (Postgre or MySQL an asset)
- Scripting language (ex: PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby, C#, html)
- Experience working with micro services and container technologies (ex: Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
