Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Planning &Execution
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, and plan testingactivities based on project requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, performance (load,stress, reliability), and mobile application testing.
- Automation & Tool Utilization
- Design, develop,and execute automation scripts using Selenium, UIPath, and Appium.
- Maintain and enhanceexisting automation frameworks and test suites.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelineswhere applicable.
- Defect Management & Debugging
- Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly using defect trackingtools.
- Collaboratewith developers and product managersto resolve issues.
- Perform regression testingafter bug fixes to ensure resolution.
- Collaboration &Requirement Analysis
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to identifysystem requirements and quality parameters.
- Investigate non-conforming software behavior and help in implementing effective solutions.
- Support productmanagers with test feedback duringsprint reviews and planning.
- Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Supervise and guidea QA team of 2–3 members.
- Allocate tasks, conductregular reviews, and support individual development.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharingwithin the team.
- Testing Methodology & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, documentation standards, and industry methodologies including BDD.
- Maintain proper QA documentation including test cases, bug logs,and test reports.
- Monitor and improveoverall test coverageand quality benchmarks.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degreein Computer Science,Information Technology, or a relatedfield.
- 7-10 years of experience in software QA including leadership of small QA teams.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test cycles, and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience in automation testingusing Selenium, UIPath,and Appium.
Skills and Experience:
- Testing Expertise: Functional,regression, and performance testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Automation Skills:Strong experience in test automation frameworks and tools.
- Bug Tracking: Experience in tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
- Team Management: Prior experience in mentoring and managing QA team members.
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills, ability to collaborate across teams.
- Documentation: Proficient in preparing detailedtest plans, reports,and testing documentation
