Job Description
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute tests based on business requirements; develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts; ensure accurate and efficient test execution for Salesforce implementations.
- Identify, report, and manage defects using tools such as Jira or Bugzilla; collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure that code changes do not negatively impact the Salesforce environment.
- Work extensively with Copado (minimum 1+ years mandatory experience) for managing Salesforce DevOps processes including version control, CI/CD pipelines, user stories, deployments, and release management.
- Validate deployments and perform post-deployment verification using Copado to ensure successful releases across environments.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, including development teams, project managers, and business analysts.
- Document and maintain test scripts, deployment validations, and test results.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce best practices, Copado DevOps practices, and new platform features; recommend improvements to Salesforce implementation and release processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce Quality Assurance and Copado-based DevOps processes.
- Develop and implement testing strategies and QA processes aligned with Salesforce and Copado release management frameworks.
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce QA professionals.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, DevOps teams, and project managers.
- Provide training to end-users on Salesforce features and assist teams in understanding Copado deployment and release processes.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- 4+ years of experience in Salesforce Quality Assurance.
- Mandatory: Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience with Copado (Salesforce DevOps tool).
- Strong experience working with Copado for version control, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, user story management, environment management, and deployment automation.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and experience with Salesforce implementations.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce out-of-the-box functionalities including (but not limited to):
- Objects, Roles, Fields, Customization, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, Data Loader, Workflow Rules, Process Builder, Flows, Permission Sets, Groups, OWD, Triggers, Execution Batches, Visualforce Pages, and LWC, with a thorough understanding of SFDC platform limitations.
- Knowledge of Reports and Dashboards; Tableau CRM knowledge is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of DevOps concepts, release management, and CI/CD best practices in Salesforce environments.
- Proficient in designing and executing various testing types including Functional, Integration, Regression, System, and UAT testing.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience leading and mentoring Salesforce QA professionals.
