Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. The role includes creating efficient data pipelines and ensuring the seamless migration and deployment of data across various systems. Attention to data quality and the implementation of extract, transform, and load processes are central to daily activities, enabling smooth data flow and accessibility for organizational needs. Collaboration with different teams to support data infrastructure and optimize performance is also a key part of the workday.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Document data processes and workflows to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in their tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Kafka.
- Experience with designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of data integration and real-time data streaming concepts.
- Familiarity with data storage systems and data processing frameworks.
- Ability to optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
- Knowledge of monitoring and troubleshooting distributed data systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Apache Kafka.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
