Job Description
· Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright.
· Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and system testing for web applications.
· Validate REST APIs and gRPC services, including request/response verification, error handling, and contract validation.
· Develop and execute automated API tests using Playwright or other API automation frameworks.
· Perform database validation by writing and executing SQL queries to verify data integrity and business rules.
· Review business requirements and technical designs to define effective test strategies and test scenarios.
· Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
· Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
· Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
· Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
· Analyze test metrics and provide recommendations for improving product quality and testing efficiency.
Required Skills
· 3–6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
· Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript.
· Experience testing REST APIs and gRPC APIs/services.
· Strong understanding of API protocols, JSON, Protocol Buffers (Protobuf), HTTP/HTTP2, authentication, and service validation.
· Hands-on experience using tools such as Postman, gRPC clients (e.g., grpcurl or BloomRPC), or equivalent API testing tools.
· Strong SQL skills with experience in database testing, including data validation, complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and data consistency checks.
· Experience with test automation framework design, maintenance, and execution.
· Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
· Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
· Experience with Git and version control best practices.
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
