Technical Lead

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performing backend services.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support production systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, coding best practices, and security guidelines.
• Lead and manage engineering teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability building.
• Adopt and leverage AI tools and frameworks to improve speed, quality, and overall productivity.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 8–14 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related STEM fields, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java full stack development.
• Experience with object-oriented design, design patterns, and enterprise application development.
• Strong understanding of Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular 17, including standalone components.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, and event streaming platforms such as Kafka.
• Experience building cloud-native applications and platforms, preferably on Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with version control, Jenkins, CI/CD, and agile development practices.
• Ability to drive software development lifecycle management, including versioning, documentation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Genuine hands-on depth in adopting AI/ML tools, frameworks, and services.
• Expertise in AI-assisted SDLC frameworks such as Anthropic Claude, Agentic AI, and GSD to automate and optimise the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
