Consultant Software Engineer

Société Générale is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of DevOps practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance our software development and deployment processes. You will work on an application called Eliot, a critical middle office application that plays a vital role in the trade life cycle within our Investment Banking division.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Unix/Linux systems administration.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with JFrog Artifactory and other artifact management tools.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
