Own services end-to-end on a modern Java + Spring Boot platform — design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring.
Design domain events and the integrations between services — event types, processors, idempotency, and eventual-consistency boundaries.
Extend the shared platform libraries — auth, async tasks, common infrastructure — that every service in the company depends on.
Write code that is genuinely tested — strong unit, integration, and contract testing as part of the development loop.
Drive performance and reliability work, including query optimisation, debugging distributed flows, and capacity planning.
Raise the engineering bar through code review, technical design docs, and mentoring mid-level engineers.
Work across a modern stack: Java (latest LTS), Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Cloud GCP, Kubernetes (GKE), PostgreSQL with a domain-event model, and contract-first APIs with OpenAPI.
- Work closely with frontend engineers on the Next.js application when shipping features that cross the boundary.
