DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated build, test, scan, and deployment activities.

• Deploy applications across VM-based, OpenShift, and Kubernetes environments using existing deployment frameworks, Ansible playbooks, and Helm charts.

• Support software release activities including artifact promotion, deployment validation, smoke testing, and rollback execution.

• Configure and maintain environment-specific deployment settings, inventory files, Helm values, ConfigMaps, and application properties.

• Troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and configuration issues across development, testing, and production environments.

• Assist in managing containerized workloads on Kubernetes and OpenShift, including deployments, services, secrets, ingress, and application health checks.

• Support database deployment activities and configuration updates for Oracle and PostgreSQL environments.

• Monitor deployment health, investigate failures, and participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis.

• Collaborate with development, QA, platform, and operations teams to ensure smooth application delivery.

• Maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge-sharing materials.

  • Contribute to automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives within the release and deployment processes.
